they gave me an offer!
they also said
"I would just like to add that your interviewer was particularly impressed with your performance and felt that you were especially suited to this course"

this was the interview where he asked - what is europe as a concept, an ideal? - and i was like .....
haha
anyway, next thing to look forward to - xmas!
